How can I best illustrate in this short space the depth and breadth of what you'll find at the upcoming Information On Demand 2012 conference? With data, of course!
Let's start with a few numbers: 12,000, 700, 300, 110, 2, and 1 -- specifically, 12,000 attendees taking in 700 technical and business sessions led by 300 speakers, along with 110 hands-on labs, a networking event featuring 2 cool bands (OneRepublic and Barenaked Ladies), and 1 humongous EXPO hall. And while you're working with those figures, let's throw in a whole bunch of keynotes, general sessions, and usability sandboxes. You'll also want to create a special category for the unconference, a participant-driven event where you set the agenda. Still with me? Then maybe you're ready to peruse the dozens of topics covered -- including heavy hitters like big data, smarter analytics, and security.
Needless to say, I could go on (and on) so why not check out the Information On Demand home page for more details, or the official conference blog for the latest updates? And lest I forget two key data points, the event takes place on 21 - 25 October in Las Vegas ... perhaps the ideal location for anyone with a facility for numbers.
Until next week,
