What better way for us to wrap up this amazing year than by focusing on two of the hottest topics of 2010? Social networking and mobile computing are arguably the current heavyweights of the IT world -- and (again, arguably) Facebook and Android are the top technologies in those respective areas. This week, our top feature shows you how to build Facebook applications for the Android platform using Facebook APIs and the Facebook SDK for Android. If you've considered developing your own social apps for Facebook, why not give yourself (and the entire community) a year-end gift of your own creation.
And what a year it's been! We dove into our second decade by garnering two new awards. We went down into the trenches with our new Industries zone, up into the clouds with (what else?) our new Cloud computing zone -- and explored pretty much all the software territory in between. Thanks for joining our little expedition, and thanks for making us part of your routine. It wouldn't have been as much fun without you.
We'll be back in January with our most popular articles of 2010; it's always fun to kick off a new year with a look back at the previous one. Just don't ask me how much of 2010 I spent on Facebook.
Happy New Year -- see you in 2011!
