I recently had an opportunity to talk about IBM Cognos Mashup Service at IBM's Information on Demand and Business Analytics Forum conference in Las Vegas. I really enjoyed meeting so many IBM Cognos customers, and discussing the ways that they can apply IBM Cognos Mashup Service in their applications.
The recorded presentations are available to conference attendees, from the Smartsite. Earlier in October, my colleague Dan Galt and I, also presented a web broadcast tech talk, that provides an introduction to IBM Cognos Mashup service, and it is available for download by everyone here. It's a good introduction to CMS and includes an example of using CMS in a Mashup with Google Maps (the same one discussed in this earlier blog post), along with a discussion of the related code. This is a resource that might help to gain or share understanding about the potential of mashups in your enterprise applications.
It would be great to hear from anyone trying out mashups, both your successes and challenges. You can comment on a blog post or use the link to the forum that can be found at the top of the C^3 home page.
