Information overload is a real problem for Java™ language developers. Every new programmer is confronted by a daunting challenge to enter a profession with a huge body of knowledge. There is, quite literally, too much to know. The situation improves only slightly for an experienced practitioner. The body of knowledge grows all the time, and just keeping up is a challenge. Wouldn't it be nice if there were a list of the books and Web sites that you must have as a professional? This article is that list.
