Using Instant Filter

The Instant Filter function inserts a combo box on a data column that lets you select the records (rows) to be displayed.

  1. Select the column that contains the value or string that you want to set as the filter criteria.
  2. Select Data > Instant Filter. An arrow button is added to the head of the column.
  3. Click the arrow button. The records that match the selected filter criteria are shown.
  4. You can sort the filtered column by clicking Sort Ascending or Sort Descending at the beginning of the filter list.
Note: You can select multiple keywords from the filter list. If multiple keywords are selected, the rows that contain these keywords are displayed. Hidden rows are not included.
