Making text superscript or subscript

You can make the selected text superscript or subscript. A superscript or subscript allows you to add a symbol, such as a trademark, to a word.

A subscript or superscript is a number, figure, symbol, or indicator that shows smaller and is positioned below or above the baseline. Subscripts are below the baseline, for example, H2O. Superscripts are above the baseline, for example, a2. Subscripts and superscripts are mostly used in formulas, mathematical expressions, and descriptions of chemical compounds or isotopes.
