    {"siteID":"1","body":"Very informative article. Congratulations!\nNow we have sold large user licenses Cognos BI 10 in Dublin and we are in the dev process for there IM needs. They have MS-CRM 2011 on Premise and now they want to query few simple reports published on Cognos into MS-CRM . Its typical .net application usinng latest external integration technlogies like REST, WEb services, ADO.Net etc etc. Now we can integrate the reports as readonly but to publish the reports in CRM (Iframe\/web Forms) and give CRM user simple capabities like filter the report data based in Product or customer\/account etc is what I am confused on what approach I should suggest. Any thought\/pointers.Thanks again.     {"siteID":"1","body":"Hi Doug,\n\n1. Publish reports in CRM Means.\n\ni:)Ability to show Cognos BI reports into CRM portal, For example : Sales per quarter vs Territory -!DWAMP!gt;Pie Chart\nii:) Ability for CRM user to filter the same report based on Quarter (For eg: 1st, 2nd etc) and Territory(For example: North, east, south etc) \n\nBoth of this reruirment should be performed in the same CRM web interface NOT IN new browser window.\n\nI hope I am able to explain you.\n\nThanks for your time \n\nNeeraj","contentID":"489913","profileurl":"https:\/\/www.ibm.com\/developerworks\/community\/profiles\/user\/neerajser","commentID":"1329195600000","author":"neerajser","subject":"test","time":"14 February 2012"}

    {"siteID":"1","body":"@neerajser\n\nBy \"new browser window\", are you referring to Cognos Viewer? If so, are you saying you don't want the reports to show up in Cognos Viewer? I'm not familiar with the CRM portal of but I would think there is a config setting that doesn't open a new browser window.","contentID":"489913","profileurl":"https:\/\/www.ibm.com\/developerworks\/community\/profiles\/user\/DougCatton","commentID":"1329195600000","author":"DougCatton","subject":"test","time":"14 February 2012"}

    {"siteID":"1","body":"Hi Doug,\n\nYes you are correct by \"new browser window\" it should not be new 'Cognos Viewer instance' because that then defeats the whole exercise of integration. \n\nAs long as in the CRM Portal the window gets refreshed or we can have some custom button which allows 'On Click' event on the web form design and refresh the CRM portal customer will be happy.\n\nWhere can I get some design pattern\/ or reference material? Does IBM support (assuming you are from IBM) has some kind of expert services which can provide us information \/Proof of concept help\/advice?\n\nThanks again for your advice.\nNeeraj","contentID":"489913","profileurl":"https:\/\/www.ibm.com\/developerworks\/community\/profiles\/user\/neerajser","commentID":"1329195600000","author":"neerajser","subject":"test","time":"14 February 2012"}

    {"siteID":"1","body":"Hi Doug,\nNo, but can we imbed Cognos viewer portal into ASP.Net page or Microsoft CRM 2011 portal? Either way it will be great.\nIs there any link where some kind of case study is available. I will explore this further on my own.\n\nThanks\nNeeraj","contentID":"489913","profileurl":"https:\/\/www.ibm.com\/developerworks\/community\/profiles\/user\/neerajser","commentID":"1329195600000","author":"neerajser","subject":"test","time":"14 February 2012"}

    {"siteID":"1","body":"@neerajser\n\nAccording to the IBM Cognos BI 10.1.1 documentation, the Cognos Viewer portlet can be imported into Sharepoint 2003, 2007 and 2010. There is no mention of the CRM 2011 portal. I'm not aware of any case studies but I'd suggest that you consider contacting your IBM account rep to see they can get you in touch with any IBM Services people who may have been down the road with the CRM 2011 portal and\/or to determine if there will be any support for the CRM 2011 portal in the near future.","contentID":"489913","profileurl":"https:\/\/www.ibm.com\/developerworks\/community\/profiles\/user\/DougCatton","commentID":"1329195600000","author":"DougCatton","subject":"test","time":"14 February 2012"}
