RMC 7.5.1 Install attempt
RMC Disk1 contains launchpad64.exe
Should this work under Win10 ?
On dbl-click :
a  RMC 7.5.1 screen appears with a
Install IBM RMC  item on the left
Which when clicked
shows a panel
a Click on LaunchRMC installer
Does nothing - why?

    Hi Bob,

Right click on launchpad64.exe and click "Run as administrator".

    Then everything should work.

    Best wishes,
    Bruce

    Bruce,

Due to the cost of RMC, I think I'll work with EPF Composer....So .....

As a demonstration project  I downloaded the OpenUP Method Library sample and copied it  into
OpenUP011917 and published it successfully using EPF Composer 1.5.1.8.
Next I copied it to a website and  tested it there and it worked as expected.

Now I'll attempt to modify the  OpenUP011917 Method Library.
File |   Open Method Library  and Browse to the  OpenUP011917 Folder
I see a list of folders applet. base_concepts .....  openup ........tasks
a openup folder is selected and OK is clicked
the Open Method Library dialog is shown but error "No method library exists"
occurs  so I go up one level in the folder tree to OpenUP011917
and click Finish  and the same error occurs.

BTW Chrome opens the index.htm  file and all is well.

Thus I cannot modify the  OpenUP011917  Library
What am I doing wrong?  Bob

    Hi Bob,

This is not the correct place to post questions about EPF Composer and OpenUP.

Please post questions to the EPF Forum or send email to the EPF mailing list, or email me directly.

In any case, there is no OpenUP method library.  I'm guessing you are opening a published site, not a library.

The library can be downloaded from http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/technology/epf/PracticesLibrary/library/epf_practices_library_1.5.1.5_20121212.zip
