Pinned topic Fiddler and CastIron Studio

‏2013-09-06T12:53:43Z |

I am unable to use Fiddler to monitor HTTPS traffic when I try to run an Orchestration in Studio.  I was told by IBM Customer Support that they know others use fiddler and have sent them logs.  I have tried it on 2 machines, Install Studio, Install Fiddler load up Orchestration that has a HTTPS POST to an external host and run the orchestration.  Fiddler picks up nothing, I know fiddler is working as it's picking up Outlook, IM and Browser traffic, but just doesn't "see" CastIron Studio traffic.

So is there a special config for Fiddler to get this to work?  Can anyone else share their experience?

Thanx,

Chris

    Hi Chris,

I use wireshark to capture the packets while an orchestration is being verified.  Once captured, There is a "Follow TCP Stream" feature that lets you see all the traffic back and forth between studio and the  server.

Yeah I can get wireshark to work, but Fiddler2 provides HTTPS decryption, does Wireshark have this capability?
