Pinned topic Email Notification ISIM

‏2018-05-08T06:06:18Z | isim6.0

Hi Team,

I have observed that whenever we are trying to send email notifications using mail node .if custom participant does not have email address value then its sending those emails to System Admins.

If anybody knows this behavior then can you please let me know if any config setting/property is present which will stop this ?

    This is working as designed.

Think about it - you are trying to send a mail to somebody that does not have an email address - what magic do you expect the system can do ? This is actually a very sensible solution - and if you do not like it then cater for it in your workflow e.g. check whether the user has an email address - if not send it to somebody else using a separate workflow branch...

    Hi Franz ,

Thank you .Yes we can cater that in Workflow .(Down the line we are going to make email address as mandatory field so we should not come across this issue) but yes if email address is not present that's how its working and as you suggested we can simply ignore the transition to mail node in such case.
