When initially we started using Connect:Direct, it was thought at the time that when C:D copies data it does so only on the blocks of data that have changed, making the transfer efficient. Is this true? Or does it copy an entire file (albeit compressed if flagged to do so), essentially overwriting the destination file, if it exists?

Re: COPY using mem blocks?2013-10-18T10:09:37ZThis is the accepted answer. This is the accepted answer.
C:D copies the entire file.
The DISP parameter on the COPY step defines the behavior for writing the destination file, i.e. data will be written to a new file (NEW), will be overwritten (RPL) or appended (MOD).
