linux environment with db2/hadr/tsa/cdc trying to create a resource for CDC failover the command looks like : export CT_MANAGEMENT_SCOPE=2

mkrsrc IBM.Application Name=\"CDC_daemon\" ResourceType=1 StartCommand="/data/cdc/CDCTSA/CDCstart.sh" StopCommand="/data/cdc/CDCTSA/CDCstop.sh" MonitorCommand="/data/cdc/CDCTSA/CDCmonitor.sh" MonitorCommandPeriod=30 MonitorCommandTimeout=30 StartCommandTimeout=600 StopCommandTimeout=30 UserName=\"dradmu1\" RunCommandsSync=1 ProtectionMode=0 NodeNameList=\"{luechdb130,luechdb131}\"

all scripts start-stop-monitor are located in same path and same authorizations -rwxrwxrwx 1 dradmu1 rg_datarep 1325 Sep 12 09:59 CDCmonitor.sh -rwxrwxrwx 1 dradmu1 rg_datarep 3509 Sep 5 15:11 CDCstart.sh -rwxrwxrwx 1 dradmu1 rg_datarep 1746 Sep 12 08:51 CDCstop.sh the path is an NFS mount on both nodes as the same mount point and accessed by same user : dradmu1 10.0.8.50:/data/col1/cdc 59887577088 14201201664 45686375424 24% /data/cdc

luechdb130.iee.intern: 2661-011 The command specified for attribute MonitorCommand is NULL, not a absolute path, does not exist or has insufficient permissions to be run. luechdb131.iee.intern: 2661-011 The command specified for attribute MonitorCommand is NULL, not a absolute path, does not exist or has insufficient permissions to be run. the scripts can be executed by dradmu1 and root with full path specification and returning same rc code I do not see why this command executed by root fails All help would be welcome thanks for all help best regards, Guy Przytula
