    Hi,

Part of the HTTP Activities, when using Studio 6.3 you can choose between GET, POST, HEAD, PUT, DELETE http verbs to perform a request.

    Thanks and regards,

    Magali

    Thanks Magali,

Actually I want to invoke the salesforce chatter REST API https://na1.salesforce.com/services/data/v23.0/chatter/feeds/news/{userId}/feed-items

    1. How to include the salesforce username/password authentication in HTTP connectors

    2. HTTP Receive request or Get Request was expecting a URL after hostname (i,e, /services/data/v23.0/chatter/feeds/news/{userId}/feed-items

Where to specify the hostname in HTTP call ?

    Thanks in advance

    Tharik

    Hi Tharik,

    1. When using the HTTP Get Activity, in the Map Inputs section, you have a set of HTTP optional parameters and you could specify here your credentials. How should be passed the username/password: in a basic auth header? in another format?

    2. You first need to define a remote HTTP endpoint, and then, depending on the HTTP activity you use, you will specify the URI. For instance, in the HTTP Get Activity, in the Map Inputs section you can set the URI you'd like to use.

    Thanks,

    Magali
