Pinned topic TAMeb - unable to pass HTTP_IV_User header when accessing from internet

‏2013-10-23T08:00:38Z |

We are facing issue with one of the link integrated with TAM e-business when accessed through internet. The users are not facing any issues when they are accessing the same links internally.

Here are the details:

1. Externally accessing the company site

2. Users are able to authenticate and login successfully

3. Replace the link with another site of the company

4. User are unable to get the page instead they r getting the error "Failed to get the user information".

Please let us know if any one has faced similar issue and how to resolve this.

Is it the same WebSEAL instance internal and external?

Is it the same junction? Have you checked the junction definitions?

Is the junction protected? and you can see the user has logged on to WebSEAL?

Is there some device  between external WebSEAL and internal app that could be dropping headers?

These are all questions that should be answered before asking for help
