Pinned topic DB2 PREP error SQL0307N

‏2013-08-29T20:19:15Z |

I have DB2 (V10.1) installed on Linux redhat 2.6.32  and DB2 (V9.7)  on AIX 7.1.0.0

When I execute DB2 PREP on my .SQC file on the Linux system,  it completes no errors, creates the package and the program executes as designed.

If I take the same .SQC file to my AIX system and run DB2 PREP,  I get multiple SQL0307N errors,( Host variable "XXXXXX" is already defined).  No package ergo program does not run.  Any ideas on the different behavior of Linux vs AIX?

The original program is COBOL with embedded SQL.  I have a program that generates the .SQC file (c code).

thanks in advance

The included .h file should point to DB2 install dir on AIX. You can check that first.

I had our system Admin update DB2 to V10.5.1 on the AIX system -  The problem seems to now be resolved.

    thanks for your help
