Pinned topic RBD 8.5 Debug across various EGL projects fails - TUI

‏2013-09-04T14:22:48Z |

We have migrated from RBD 7.5 to RBD 8.5. Now we are not able to debug TUI applications, when calling modules across EGL projects. We get the error:  "The source for the program named xxx could not be found" The Debug Configuration/Source contains all the relevant EGL projects

    Hi Merethe,

    some questions:

    1. Is there error mark in the project ?

    2. Did you try run clean project ?

    3. In Build Path, the project associate is marked ?

    Regard,

    Hi Hsieh

    Thanks for answering.

You are right, if we mark all projects in Build Path, the problem is solved. But I am quit sure that we in RBD7.5 did not mark all projects.

But now we are able to debug TUI, so thanks

    Best regards,

    Merethe

    Hsieh,

    Thanks for providing a solution.

    Merethe,

One question...in the Preferences->EGL-Debug, is the "allow a program to be called by its alias" checked or unchecked?  Did this differ from 7.5?  My understanding is if unchecked you get better performance as it will not scan the workspace searching for a match.  But it would require the EGL build Path to be correct.
