Pinned topic Bladecenter H Network Connections

‏2014-04-04T14:09:25Z |

Hey All

I have a new Bladecenter H which I am trying to set up. I have been able to install the OS (RHEL5.9) on the blades, but the issue I am having is that we cannot ping any blades internally or externally?

The configuration/Vlans looks ok, and the links are up on the blades themselves, but when I configure IP addresses I cannot ping anything form either blade.

I have one cable plugged into the IBM Networking OS Virtual Fabric 10Gb Switch Module (EXT1) and set up the VNic's and Vnic groups.

I'm at a loss, so any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks

    Dear Sean,

    lets check the next logs:

    - AMM Service Data;

    - DSA log from blade-server with RHEL5.9;

    - IBM Networking OS Virtual Fabric 10Gb Switch Module logs.

    Can you connect on the 1Gb links through I/O module 1 and just not the 10Gb ones?
