Pinned topic How to change the user interface language of Architect?

‏2013-04-16T06:17:02Z |

Hello experts,

I am new in TM1, when I installed TM1, the UI language of architect tool is in Chinese, I want it to show in English. But I can't find any option to change it? Do you have any idea about it ?

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Typically the language is chosen during the install.  So for the client you need to select language = English as the 1st or 2nd step of the install process.

For TM1Web the language is determined by the regional settings of the client machine.  You could try changing regional settings from Chinese to US and then customizing timezone, number and date formats.  This might affect Architect but I suspect you would need to reinstall with english as the selected language.

Sorry I am so late, but in the Windows User Profile there is a new file called tm1p.ini, simply add Language = ENG to a new line at the end. there are a number of other languages, but somewhat stangely English is not mentioned here: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SS9RXT_10.2.0/com.ibm.swg.ba.cognos.tm1_inst.10.2.0.doc/c_lange_tm1_1.html%23Lange_tm1_1?lang=en
