Pinned topic Cognos Express 10.2.1 Installation Issue

Hi,

I have attempted to install Cognos Express 10.2.1 on Windows Server 2008 R2.  The wizard completes without any errors, however when I attempt to run Cognos Express Manager, IE displays an error message of unable to find the page.  When I review the services, I can see that the IBM Cognos Express Service has not been installed and the install log has a number of error messages in it.

I have been able to install without any issues on my Laptop which has Windows 7 64 BIT.  Has anybody been able to install without any problems on Windows Server 2008 R2?

    Hi,

     

    Yes I am having the exact same problem at a client who just needed an upgrade from Cognos Express 9.5 to 10.2.1

     

    Any solutions?

    Please attach your install log  and logs folder as a zip file for further investigation.

    Are you logged in as system administrator?

    Did you set your IE compatibility setting to be compatible?
