Hi Guys. Can anyone help me out of the following problem. I have IBM DB2 Warehouse installed on SUSE enterprise 11. The db2 is activated using the Advanced Enterprise Server Eddition licence key. I am using the db2 as my warehouse target database. For the warehouse etls I am using Design Studio which comes with IBM DB2 Warehouse v 10.5 and its installed on my client machine running openSUSE 12.3. My source database is Informix 10 installed on HP-UX. When I run dataflow from design studio, some run successfully but others fail with the following error.

ERROR    JDBCExtractor: SQL Exception: SQL state = IX000; error code = -253; error Message = Identifier length exceeds the maximum allowed by this version of the server.

Can anyone please assist

Regards

check your data source in the flows, most likely you are pointing to the wrong data source
