Pinned topic ICN is not able to open Lotus Notes mails

‏2013-04-16T10:23:47Z |

Greetings,

We have configured ICC 3.0 for Lotus Notes to archive emails in FileNet repository and are trying to use ICN 2.0.1/Workplace XT to view the archived emails. However, mail is not displayed in the required format.

While configuring the task route, we are saving the email in notes native format in the repository. The Mime type of the file which is archived through ICC 3.0 is "application/icccsn". PFA file "Lotus Notes.jpg" for confirming the Mime type.

To view a lotus Notes email captured by ICC and stored in FileNet repository:

  1. When we double click on it, it opens in new tab and ask for "save it" and "open it"(Not opening in the Viewer).
  2. When we preview the file it opens the email and displays many unnecessary tags along with the email content. As shown in the attached "Lotus Notes1.jpg" file.
  3. When download as an Original document from ICN, it saves the file with no file extension. Which does not open in Lotus Notes. PFA file with initial name "PH13456_KRa_ Lifeboat Group".
  4. When download as PDF document from ICN , it saves the file but again with unnecessary tags in it. PF attached PDF copy.

Please guide me in resolving this issue.

Thanks & Regards

You need to register the Content Navigator ICC Viewer Plugin using the ICN administration.  This plugin is documented so please read the documentation.
