Pinned topic SNMP on V3700?

‏2013-09-13T19:09:13Z |

Is anyone able to walk the MIB on the V3700? I can't get a SNMP response from this unit at all. I'm able to reach it on the network, obviously as I am also looking through the menus on how to enable this features.

Nothing back on port 161, the only thing I can configure is the SNMP server; I don't need to do that yet but do I need to have my host's IP listed in the table in order to be able to get SNMP responses from it??

When I do a common port scan it's only seeing 22, 80 and 443, port 161 is not showing up as active.

Any help would be appreciated.

TY

Storwize V3700, 7000 and SVC only supports sending SNMP traps. You cannot get info from it via SNMP besides those traps.

What info were you looking to pull out of it?

I was just wanting to pull info and graph it, outside of using the internal performance monitor of the V3700.

It's very surprising that the system doesn't support getting info via SNMP; not sure why this is the case.

      Thanks for confirming though.
