Pinned topic Permanently delete from database

‏2013-06-03T19:37:39Z |

I am trying to remove an entry from our database table by clicking a delete button on the list page.
I created a method in the LJO and it works in the provider.
I just dont know how to get it to work in the consumer.  There is a button that can be added to the list page  that will remove it from the XML but i need to remove it from the database table.
I am using DSUI  and I am not using a details page.

Is there a way i can accomplish this?

Try the out of the box WEF Orders Service Consumer sample from the Building Models feature set.   Set that to Detete column buttons in the DSUI builder and see if that's what you're looking for.    That should be calling the delete operation from the provider - it shouldn't care whether it's a database backed provider or some other provider type if it provides the same logical operations to the consumer and DSUI.

    I hope that info helps,
