Pinned topic Using DataPower as a FTP Server

‏2013-05-02T20:26:31Z |

Hi!

My team and I are working on using DP as a FTP server based on this article: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wsdatap/4mt/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.ibm.dp.doc%2FFTPServerFSH_UseFTPServer_lesson.html.

Although it works perfectly fine, we realized that the MPGW's probe isn't logging the transactions, even though they are logged in the default log. Is that usual? Or maybe we're missing something in our configuration? Our main problem is that we want to perform some processing rules (one for request, one for response and one for error) and we are not sure if their actions are being executed or not.

Another thing we realized is that we can't delete any file or directory, even having the permission from the server to do so. Is that common?

At the moment, we're using:

  • A FileZilla server with no SSL or SSH
  • A FileZilla client, running on a different computer, which indicates our DP address as its server address.

Thanks in advance,

Sebastian.

Check if you turn the show probe '"ON" on the MPG service

    It's already enabled...
