Pinned topic Access remote copybook from local project

‏2014-02-18T07:06:17Z |

Hi,

I would like to know how to access remote copybook from a local project. I suppose that I need to set a reference to my remote copybooks in the local property-group but where?

thanks

Eric

    Hi John,

very nice documentation. I tried using RDz 8.5.1 and the copybook issue is solved.

    John,

Thanks for helping the cause by sharing your knowledge with others!

Just a clarification on the documentation note referenced in your attachment:

The manual suggests that the name must end in a period to allow real time Sytax checking to work - I'm not sure about this http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/ratdevz/v8r5/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.ibm.etools.zide.cmn.doc%2Ftopics%2Ftzincllib.html)

It is the COPY statement in the COBOL program that must end in a period to allow the Real Time Syntax checking to work properly.
