Pinned topic Can I disable NICs on HS23?

‏2013-05-06T14:59:15Z | bladecenter e hs23

I have some HS23 blades in a BladeCenter E running VMware. The two 10 GB NICs that do not map to the BladeCenter E still show up in VMware and are recording a large number of dropped packets even though they are not bing used. I want to disable them to get rid of the warnings about packet loss, but did not see an option in the BIOS. Is there a way to disable them?

Thanks,

Michael

You cannot just disable to 10G NICs in F1, its all or nothing. F1 -> System Settings -> Devices and I/O Ports -> enable/disable onboard devices.
I would think there would be a way to disable the 10G NICs in vmware
