Pinned topic Packed descriptor corruption - DB2 Exp-c 9.7

‏2013-12-17T11:18:59Z |

In CLP:

C:\EXPORT>db2 reorg table ctabanc
SQL0901N  A instrução SQL falhou devido a um erro do sistema de pouca
gravidade. As instruções SQL posteriores podem ser processadas.  (Código de
"Corrupt PD->length in table "DB2ADMIN"."CTABANC"".)  SQLSTATE=58004

In DB2diag:

2013-12-17-08.29.20.954000-120 I10981724F6963     LEVEL: Severe
PID     : 3892                 TID  : 4360        PROC : db2syscs.exe
INSTANCE: DB2_01               NODE : 000         DB   : PIRAMIDE
APPHDL  : 0-15300              APPID: *LOCAL.DB2_01.131217102040
AUTHID  : DB2ADMIN
EDUID   : 4360                 EDUNAME: db2agent (PIRAMIDE)
FUNCTION: DB2 UDB, catalog services, sqlrlgti, probe:200
MESSAGE : Corrupt PD->length in table "DB2ADMIN"."CTABANC"

Solution:

http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/br/data/library/techarticle/dm-1208corruptiondb2/

or

http://www.gianser.com/index.php/web-design-development/database-development/db2/17919-diagnosing-corruption-when-using-ibm-db2

But, for this solution i need of the service_password from IBM support to use the db2cat command:

export DB2SVCPW=<service_password from IBM support>
db2cat -d <dbname> -s <schema> -n <tablename> -f <raw pd output file> -o <message file>
db2cat -d <dbname> -s <schema> -n <tablename> -g <generated pd output file> -o <message file>
db2cat -d <dbname> -s <schema> -n <tablename> -r <generated pd output file> -o <message file>

I dumped the table data on a DEL file

I need to drop this table.

How can i do this in db2 express-c?

    Sorry for opening an old thread, but I too now have this issue on DB2 Express-C 10.5 64-bit on Win 7 Pro. How am I able to DROP this table without having support from IBM ??
