Pinned topic Only Executing a Command Once?

‏2014-06-25T20:07:09Z |

We like to have the ability to limit the number of iterations of the same command on a page.  I had changed the redundant path setting to 1 but that did not seem to make a difference.  The scan literally issued the same commands (for different people if you will) hundreds of times and we only need to do it a few times.  Any help on how to do this would be greatly appreciated!

This is V9.0.0.1

    Hi Tony,

Is the issue that your AppScan tests the same (similar) URLs many times?

and you were trying to decrease it by using the "Redundant Path Limit" as described here: http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21612674  and the AppScan still tests the same (similar) URLs many times.

    Is that correct?

The issue may be becaused by a technique used in web applications called "URL Rewriting".  How to optimize URL rewriting is described here: http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21317594
