Pinned topic Reporting on Available Definitions and their Properties

‏2013-05-03T17:39:34Z |

There was a recent discussion in LinkedIn on how to produce a report that lists the set of definition types for the current encyclopedia.

Attached is a macro that writes this report to Excel.  The report includes the definition types supported by the metamodel that is currently in place, along with the properties for each definition and the property types.

After installing the macro, you can run it by opening the Run Macro window (ALT-F8), then select GenerateDefnAndPropertyReport.

Hope you find this helpful.

    Bala,

You can simply perform an Export Definitions (under the Dictionary menu option).

This will copy all instances of a selected definition type to CSV.

You can of course open the CSV in Excel and then save as XLS.
