Pinned topic Load balancer configuration in datapower

‏2013-06-27T13:30:29Z |

Hello Experts,

I have a question. I need to implement load balancing in DataPower.

At the backend of datapower I have 2 JBOSS server instances.DataPower need to send the requests to these two instances. Below are my questions

1) How to configure load balancer?

2) How can use the refference to load balancer when I am using a static backend.

Thanks,

Rahul

    >>>1) How to configure load balancer?

Create LoadBalancer Group which is under Network tab [ex: "ABC."]  and add Jboss Info (IP address, port and weight, Algorithm, etc..)

    >>>2) How can use the refference to load balancer when I am using a static backend.

in Static Back-end of your service you can specify  LBGName with back-end URI.

    ex: http://ABC/RequestURI

in Static Back-end of your service you can specify  LBGName with back-end URI.

    ex: http://ABC/RequestURI

Remember to add LBG under XMLManager of the service. It won't work if LBG is not added under supported load balancers.
