Pinned topic checked out clearcase file has ownership "nobody"

‏2013-10-17T14:50:59Z |

Hello People,

I mapped unix dynamic view on windows . I checked one of the file out and the ownership of the file is shown nobody once it is checked out. Since my windows id and unix id are different, is this an expected behaviour of the clearcase here?

Thanks !!

PS: Clearcase_Primary_Group is checked and OK on cc doctor analysis and credmap.

The following is a technote with more details and links for this type of setup.

    http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?&rs=984&uid=swg21146784

    It mentions the following:

All Windows users' usernames and their primary groups must have matching usernames and primary groups on UNIX (and or Linux) in a Rational ClearCase Interop environment.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Yes, this is expected.

You'll need either the same account names on both sides or you'll need a SAMBA mapping (I think) to map from Windows id to Unix id.

    greetings georg.
