Pinned topic How to update UEFI trough IMM2

‏2013-05-14T01:06:22Z |

Hi,

I'm trying to update the UEFI firmware of my X3530 server trough the IMM2 WEB Interface, however I keep getting the "The uploaded file is not a valid update firmware file." error when I try to upload the ibm_fw_uefi_bee124c-1.30_anyos_32-64.uxz file.

Can some one point me to the correct file to upload to my server?

Thanks,

Eelco

That is the correct file.  Try downloading it again, and make sure the system is powered up and in the OS when you attempt to flash.

I finally figured it out... I'm using a MAC, and the uxz file is a .zip file, which I had to unpack, and than use the included .upd file ;)
