Pinned topic Virtual Pattern Kit for Developers itself on ESX connected to PowerVM hypervisors

‏2013-07-18T14:11:13Z |

Hi,
I am working to determine if  Virtual Pattern Kit for Developers running on ESX will be able to use PowerVM configured to the IWD instance.

That is, if the specifications defined on the IBM Workload Deployer InfoCnter

"PowerVM specifications"

are met,

will a team, with some effort, be able to install the Business Process Manager 8.0.1 Pattern for AIX?

Thank you for your assistance,
regards, Chris

This is regarding IBM PureSystem PMR 90270,49R,000.  Just a note to
follow-up on my colleague David Snow's last update.  In chatting with
our collaboration team there is currently not a BPM image for the
IWD/Power environment.  This stated, is your company thinking of moving
to the PureSystem rack in the future?

Even though their own infocenter claims it does...

IBM BPM Advanced Pattern on Red Hat Enterprise Linux runs on VMware ESX hypervisors and requires one of the following platforms to run on:

    • IBM PureApplication System W1500
    • IBM Workload Deployer V3.1.0.7

I get tired of fighting with them about it.
