Pinned topic Relevance to query and set registry key under current user

‏2014-05-15T19:55:08Z |

I am trying to query a registry key that is set under the current logged on user account. The registry key is for internet exploreres autoconfig proxy file. I have a successful relevance query using a statically set registry key below.

(not exists keys "HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-1111111-11111111-11111111-11111\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings"   whose (exists values whose(name of it = "AutoConfigURL"  AND it as string  as lowercase  = "http://domain.com/proxy.pac"  as lowercase ) of it) of registry)

The issue I am running into is getting this so I can evaluate the proper SID for the current logged on user. I am trying to follow the method in the post below by system admin with not luck. https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/community/forums/html/topic?id=77777777-0000-0000-0000-000014752435

Once I have the relevance to query the current user I also need to set the key using action script which is another challenge.

Any help is appreciated.
