Pinned topic How to forbid the java to print console by spss java plugin?

‏2013-12-27T06:45:02Z |

Hello everyone,

   First, I want to say merry xmas to everyone. Hope everyone has a good vocation.

   I want to start the spss server get to work through the javaplugin.jar supplied by IBM spss supply . During the working , I find the syntax sentence "SET PRINTBACK ON MPRINT ON."  can print the result into console. But now, I want to close the function that means I don't need the messages printed in the console which only wastes time and occupies the memories. I tried to use the syntax sentence "SET PRINTBACK OFF MPRINT OFF.". I also tried replace the "OFF" by "NO" or "NONE".  But it didn't work.

  I wonder if anyone has met this problem before? Any feedback is prefered. Thanks in advance. Below is my simple program. I also upload the console screenshots.

public static void main(String[] args) {
    String [] command = {
        "SET PRINTBACK OFF MPRINT OFF.",
        "GET FILE 'D:/test.sav'. ",
        "CURVEFIT",
        "  /VARIABLES=cell_alias_17 WITH cell_alias_13",
        "  /CONSTANT",
        "  /MODEL=LINEAR",
        "  /PLOT NONE."
      };
      try{
        StatsUtil.start();
        StatsUtil.submit(command);
      }catch(StatsException e){
        e.printStackTrace();
      }finally{
        try {
           StatsUtil.stop();
        } catch (StatsException e) {
           e.printStackTrace();
        }
     }
}
