Pinned topic Files tab is empty but can access HDF using localhost::8080/data/rproxy/datanode/

‏2013-06-30T20:26:07Z |

Hello,

I can access HDFS using

localhost:8080/data/rproxy/datanode/

but unable to access using Files tab at

8080/data/html/index.html#redirect-files

when installed using all the deafult parameters.

Thanks for your help.

    Try using a different browser.

For example I ran into this problem with Firefox 19.0 but fixed it by installing Google Chrome Version 28.0.1500.71.

    Hope this helps,

    - Mike.

I tried using Opera with the same result (Files tab is still empty). I can't install Google Chrome on CentOS 6.4 OS - it's not supported anymore (I tried that already)

      Thank you!

Also - when you ran into the same problem - could you actually open WEB-INF folder using the  localhost:8080/data/rproxy/datanode/ link? When I click on it I get the 404 error message. Is it a normal behavior?

        Hello,

Neither Opera nor Google Chrome are supported web browser for BI 2.1. You need to use FireFox EST 17. If you use Windows, you can use IE 9 or IE 10 to access the BI Console UI in addition to FireFox ESR 17.

host:8080/data/rproxy/datanode is NOT the BI console UI, you cannot access console's backend from the reverse proxy page.
