Pinned topic With a user's development schemes are not

‏2013-06-12T10:18:04Z |

I have installed IBM Data Studio, with my username all perfect, but I am DB2 administrator on the host.

The problem is that when you use a user's development that belongs to a group that is owner of a DB, but after connecting any object is not: databases, schemas, tables,...

Whats the problem? Do permissions need user development?

Thank you very much.

    Hi,

Could you do me a favor  explain the problem you face?

    Are you using DB2 LUW?Which platform,windows,Linux?

    Is this your scenario?

You have two user, one user DB2 administrator, everything works fine. with another user, which is belong to a group of DB, can't show schema, tables.

The other user is part of the system user group, like db2admin group?

YuanFeng many thanks for your answer.

I have already solved this problem. At the end I got it work giving permissions GRANT to PUBLIC on certain system tables.

    Thanks and regards.
