Pinned topic validating a string with some pattern

‏2013-07-31T16:49:24Z |

Hi,

i have to validate a string against a pattern.

my pattern =[a-z][A-Z][0-9]

so i have to check if my input string contains other than this pattern values , throws exception or does not validate.

i was thinking to create message set but i am not able to validate the input string.

I hope my question is clear.

please suggest me something.

Thanks in advance.

Hi, It's possible to define a value constraint of a message object(simple type) using regular expression pattern.

    Take a look:  http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wmbhelp/v7r0m0/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.ibm.etools.msgbroker.helphome.doc%2Fhelp_home_msgbroker.htm

Hey, it's not working to copy and paste the link, sorry. Try to search by 'Setting value constraints' in the search field in the left of the info center. It's the first result.
