    Subash,

    You should start with the instructions here: http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/portalwiki.nsf/xpDocViewer.xsp?lookupName=IBM+WebSphere+Portal+8+Product+Documentation#action=openDocument&res_title=Linux_standalone_Setting_up_a_SQL_Server_database_wp8&content=pdcontent

    Did you check the passwords for all the domain users and make sure they are correct? Check with your DBA if each of these users have the necessary permissions to the database.

    Did this task run successfully?

    ./ConfigEngine.sh validate-
    database-connection

    Did you check the passwords for all the domain users and make sure they are correct? Check with your DBA if each of these users have the necessary permissions to the database.

    Did this task run successfully?

    ./ConfigEngine.sh validate-
    database-connection

    Alle,

    I am not able to run transfer-database task successfully. Have attached the log for release domain. I don't know where i am going wrong.

    Please help me in this.

    Hi,

    Your DbUrl=jdbc:sqlserver://sqldev08r2.tmg.local\ibmdev;SelectMethod=cursor;DatabaseName=wpsdb;

    appears to be the culprit. What is "\ibmdev" as part of the hostname? And also I don't see a port number for SQLServer. Because of this the task, action-create-datasource-portal is failing with a NullPointerException as it is not able to parse this DBUrl. You will need to check this url and rerun the database-transfer task.

    Typically, the DbUrl is like this:

    jdbc:sqlserver://MySQLServerHost.mycompany.com:1433;SelectMethod=cursor;DatabaseName=wpsdb;
