Pinned topic Replacement for logging health indicators in 10.1 and beyond?

‏2013-06-28T21:04:17Z |

Since db.log_fs_util and db.log_fs are both being deprecated along with the health monitor, I am trying to find a replacement... so far, I haven't found a mon_xxx function that would work similarly to MON_GET_CONTAINER, but get information about the file system which the database uses for logging.  Is there such a thing?

Have you looked at MON_GET_TRANSACTION_LOG ? That is the table function for monitoring the DB2 transaction Logger.  It should provide the data your looking for to make similar calculations as the health monitor did in the past.

Thanks - I did, but it seems that while the elements returned by this function would give me data about the available database log space, none of the elements could help me with monitoring of the available log file system space the way db.log_fs_util does...  Unless I am missing something?
