Pinned topic RPE Tables

‏2013-11-20T22:03:54Z |

I am using RPE version 1.2.1 and I am having trouble rendering tables from RPE. I am extracting data from System Architect version 11.4.2.1 and trying to render the output in table format. What happens is that if a query returns no results then that cell of the table is not rendered.

I am attaching a sample of what I am seeing. What am I doing wrong?

    Thank you Dragos.

    Hi,

you have uploaded the schema for your data but for testing the actual data is needed. To get it just copy the URL that RPE logs in the console view, put that link in a browser and use File->Save As to save it in XML. You should trim it/replace content with mockup data if data is confidential.

    Hey,

no, not quite but I figured what happens without the data. If you want your cell to show even if there is no data for it then you should move the query inside the cell on some container. But even better, since you are dealing with properties you use them directly on your text elements inside the cells. To do this when you drag the name/description properties on the text element select "use as value" in the dialog that RPE prompts you with.

    See the attached modified template.
