Pinned topic Find the IP address of a DataPower

‏2013-05-02T01:07:56Z |

Hi All

I have been given a DataPower to play with but have not got any information about it and do not want to reinitialize it. I have the admin userid and password for the CLI but do not have the IP address that the unit has been configured to use for the management interface. All the documentation that I have been able to find gives instructions on how to reset the interface but does not give any instructions on how to find the existing IP addresses ie ipconfig on a windows machine. Is there any way of finding this out or do I just have to reinitialize the interfaces.

Thanks

Steve

If you have access to the DataPower CLI via the appliance's console, the current interface configuration can be obtained via:

    xi52# config
    xi52(config)# show interface

    Thanks for that.

A short while after posting the question I was able to find the answer for an older version of the firmware and it was the same as your answer.
