Pinned topic No action to start! Oozie

‏2014-05-30T19:58:53Z |

Dear Team,

I try to use web crawler and board reader to get data, but the progress of the job stuck.

I using proxy in my environment, maybe this is the cause. But I don't know how to setting proxy in BigInsights, since on the OS side, it has already configured the proxy and can connect to Internet.

This is the oozie.log capture. It said that there os no action to start.

    Hi Ichsan,

Oozie log is showing there is not action to run with the cooridnator job.  This is usually result of incomplete workflow definition for the application.  BigInsights application tab, the link function to compose web crawler and board reader into one application, can generate the workflow definition.  There is also another editorial approach to compose BigInsights application from EclipseTooling.  Which approach was used to create the chained application?

If the application was composed from web browser, please verify that you are using a supported browser, Latest version of Firefox and IE are supported browser.

If the application was composed using EclipseTooling, then make sure that the workflow actions are properly defined.

This problem does not seem to be proxy related because the interaction is browser connect to BigInsights console, and request is translated to work inside the cluster.  It looks like every step has been ran as expected, but the definition of the workflow does not contain any action.

    Hope this helps.
