After struggling with the IBM Systems Director 6.3.2 on a SuSE 11SP3 virtual machine install, I finally put it to work. But, as I noticed later, there's the new 6.3.3 version. Therefore I tried to update the package trough the web interface, but when I click the "Update IBM Systems Director" button on homepage, I get the following error:
Error 500: javax.faces.FacesException: javax.faces.FacesException: Can't instantiate class: 'com.ibm.usmi.console.updates.update.UpdateProductBean'.. class java.lang.NullPointerException: null
What could be happening? How do I proceed to update?
I pasted the content of /opt/ibm/director/lwi/logs/error-log-0.html in the autoupdaterror.txt file attached to this post, just after trying to use the autoupdate feature. In fact, those logs are getting massive input, as some of them have dozens of megabytes. Here's the pastebin, for quick visualization (same content): http://pastebin.com/KYkCvUZd
