Pinned topic Webservices while security is enabled

‏2013-12-11T14:32:38Z |

I am getting error when security is enabled on the server. with disabled security everything is working fine using SOAP UI. Any idea if I need to pass use details in SOAP request or some custom coding required to resolve this.

I am using below end point http://<servername>:9081/MDMWSProvider/MDMService

    If I understood your question correctly, yes, you need to add a header to your SOAP envelope with the server credentials. You can google it, there are plenty of examples.. Let me know if you can't find something that works for you, I will send you a sample.

    Thanks Zhaba for your response. I got it working by adding following in soap header. And adding that user to WSProvider and Consumer role mapping.

    <ws:Security xmlns:ws="http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-wssecurity-secext-1.0.xsd">
       <ws:UsernameToken>
       <ws:Username><USER_NAME></ws:Username>
       <ws:Password><PASSWORD></ws:Password>
       </ws:UsernameToken>
     </ws:Security>
