Pinned topic dp:serialization ?

‏2013-12-30T16:49:11Z |

Hi All,

Can anybody help me why do we need to use the dp:serialize and what is the purpose of serializing the input xml.

If i do the dp:serialize of aaa.xml, then the output is going to be only string ? or still  xml only ?

could anybody explain why do we need to use it and where do we need to use ?

Thanks in advance

R@j'

<dp:serialize> serializes an XML nodeset into a string.

The inverse operations is <dp:parse ...> or "dp:parse(...)" which parses a string and creates XML from that.

Some protocols require XML to be transmitted serialized in a text element of a wrapping XML message.
