Pinned topic Issue with address updates on updateOrganization

‏2013-06-04T14:25:01Z |

When we tried to pass the same address in update Organization transaction, the transaction fails with the below error.

Business object Address is extended as XAddress. Only change to the address is the

StandardFormatingOveriride indicator which we are passing as Y in the request. Any pointers would be helpful.

<ErrorMessage>[Exception_Shared_LastUpdateDtNotMatched:] CDKCH2001E:Another transaction has updated the database record you are trying to update. Cannot update record at this time, please try again.</ErrorMessage> .

Please ensure that the <AddressLastUpdateDate> in the request must match that of the one in database.  This is the locking mechanism in MDM.

As I specified earlier, there is no change to the address object that was passed in the request. All the values re same as they exist in the database. Only tag that was modified is StandardFormattingOverride.the error actually triggered by address extension.

Even if there is no change to the data, you need to specify the exact last updated dates for both address bobj and your extended address bobj.

In Mdm10, the default behavior doesn't generate the xsds for the lastupdatedate, lastupdate user, lastupdatetxid and primary key for extensions in request as well as response. So there's no way we can input these details

Some one mentioned about fix pack in one of the forums. Trying to see if it resolves.

    Thank you,
