Pinned topic REST: Query fixlet properties

‏2014-04-28T19:22:16Z |

Hi,

I'm working on a project where I need to query all the relevant security fixlets for VM, then create a baseline with the relevant fixlets and get them applied.

Being new to IEM/TEM, I'm starting slow...   My question (at the moment) is querying fixlet properties.  If I run the following get, https://x.x.x.x:52311/api/query?relevance=(id of site of it, name of site of it, id of it, name of it) of relevant fixlets of bes computers whose ( id of it is (3633070)

I get a nice list of ALL the fixlets relevant to the specified computer id with the four properties.  If I add    category of it   to the list of properties to display, it fails with

<BESAPI xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="BESAPI.xsd"><Query Resource="(id of site of it, name of site of it, id of it, name of it, category of it) of relevant fixlets of bes computers whose (id of it is 3633070)"><Result/><Error>Singular expression refers to nonexistent object.</Error></Query></BESAPI>

I have been told this is a "customer" property.  How do I access it?

Thanks,

Rob

I'm getting closer.  If I use the following query, (id of site of it, name of site of it, id of it, name of it, category of bes fixlet whose (id of it is 289484401)) of relevant fixlets of bes computers whose (id of it is 3633070),

I can get the fixlet category.  My next question is how do I replace 289484401 (known fixlet id)  with 'it' that pertains to the fixlet returned from 'relevant fixlets of bes computers whose (id of it is 3633070)'?

    I'd appreciate any ideas.

    Thanks

    Rob

Got some help on this, solution is something like this,

(id of site of it, name of site of it, id of it, name of it, category of it) of relevant fixlets whose (category of it = "Security Advisory") of bes computers whose (id of it is 3633070)

    or

(id of site of it, id of it, name of it, categories of it)  of relevant fixlets of bes computers whose (id of it is 3633070)
