Pinned topic Adding http header to XML

‏2013-08-19T06:49:31Z |

Hi,

I have an incoming soap request to Datapower.I am converting it to XML using XSL.

Now I am trying to add http header to my XML(which will be sent to backend) using dp:set-http-request-header.

This is not working, in the probe I can see it as follows:-

Protocol Headers:
name value
Accept-Encoding gzip,deflate
Content-Type text/xml;charset=UTF-8
SOAPAction ""
User-Agent Jakarta Commons-HttpClient/3.1

Is there anyway by which I can set the http header for my XML before it is sent to the backend. The catch here is that this header needs to be populated based on the values chosen in the stylesheet.

Please advise.

Thanks and Regards,

Charu Singhal

    try to provide little more details about   the xsl file in order to figure out where  you are going wrong.

    Hi,

    Check whether you have given single quote like this,

    <dp:set-http-request-header name=" 'header-name' " value=" 'ur value' " />
