Pinned topic Customizing sequence diagram generation.

‏2013-12-09T06:37:22Z |

I had generated sequence diagram from an existing code using RSA 9.0.

it is working by compiling entire java code and generating diagram.

how to customize to generate only few parts while ignoring others.

ex:-

class1.method1{

preValidateUserData();

ifErrors==true?ErrorClass.logError:;

validateUserData();

ifInvalid==true?LoggerClass.logMessage and redirect:;

class2.fetchDataBasedOnUserInputs();

class3.modifyResults;

class1.RedirectUsertoCorrectPage();

}

class2.fetchDataBasedOnUserInputs(){

class4.LoadRequiredInformation();

class5.fetchDataFromDB();
}

class5.fetchDataFromDB(){

loadDBInformation();

createQuery();

executeQuery();

}

ErrorClass.LogError(){

validatePrecondition();

fetchErrorMessage();

updateMessage();

}

How to ignore ErrorClass sequence information and LoggerClass while maintaining sufficient depth level of diagram generation.

The problem is too much unnecessary information. Generating the diagram and removing the unnecessary information is too cumbersome.

Is there a way to tag the methods for which only the diagram gets generated.
